2023 National Rubber and Plastic Green Manufacturing Industry-Academia Integration Forum

On June 10-12, 2023, the 2023 National Rubber and Plastic Green Manufacturing Industry-University Integration Forum was successfully held in Tiantai County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. The forum was hosted by the Special Committee on Green Manufacturing in Rubber and Plastics of the Chinese Chemical Society, organized by the Advanced Elastomer Materials Research Center of Beijing Chemical University and the Frontier Elastomer Research Institute of South China University of Science and Technology, and co-sponsored by Zhejiang Tiantie Industry Co. The forum invited more than 200 people from government agencies, the Chinese Chemical Industry Association, industry experts, and enterprise representatives to engage in thematic exchanges focusing on the use of sustainable materials in tires and rubber and plastics products, and the concepts, standards, and technologies of green manufacturing for rubber and plastics, aiming to promote the transformation of green rubber and plastics technologies and the industrialization of technological achievements, and to promote the progress and development of the rubber and plastics industry through the establishment of a platform for exchanges among the industries, academics, researchers, and users. The purpose was to promote the transformation of green rubber and plastic technology achievements and the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements through the establishment of a platform for exchanges among industry, academia, research, and users, and to jointly promote the progress and development of the rubber and plastic industry.

In light of the company's development and future planning in the field of rail transit vibration and noise reduction, he introduced the industrialization process of green manufacturing from theory to application from the perspective of innovation and upgrading of comprehensive vibration and noise reduction treatment. He emphasized that on the platform of the Specialized Committee on Green Manufacturing in Rubber and Plastics, he looked forward to strengthening cooperation with the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and to promoting the green development of the industry through the synergy of green and intelligent technologies and the breakthrough of technical bottlenecks in the green development of the industry.

Liu Chaoqi, Vice President of the Company's Corporate Research Institute, gave a presentation titled "Design, Manufacturing, and Application of Rubber Products in the Entire Life Cycle of a Worker," in which he introduced the design and application of Tiantie's rubber products in rail transit systems from theoretical construction, to practical solutions, to the application of different types of products. He also explained in detail Tiantie's greening and environmental protection of used rubber products and the use of rubber pellets in the industry.

In the future, Tiantie will continue to strengthen cooperation with advanced schools and upstream and downstream enterprises, accelerate the promotion of low-carbon process innovation and industrial upgrading, enhance the level of self-innovation, quality and efficiency, integrated development, green and safe development of the rubber and plastic industry, and promote the green development of the enterprise. Under the guidance of the national dual-carbon plan, Tiantie is willing to work with advanced schools and enterprises in the rubber and plastics field to create a green manufacturing ecosystem, build a green supply chain system, and contribute to a myriad of visions for green and sustainable development.
